Well this one is kind of a lame duck. I do not have any pictures of ducks, but here are some photos of Canadian Geese that I took earlier in the day.

Weather was bad so we scrapped our plan and went out for BishopX's birthday at Red Robin (YUUUUUMMMMM!). Then I made him try his first Cinnabon. Freakin' guy has never had a Cinnabon...

The rain was ending and the sun started to come out after lunch so we salvaged the day and bagged one of the NH Fire Towers that is part of the Fire Lookout Tower Quest Program. There are two that are seriously lame. Croydon because you cannot access the damn thing and then Warner Hill. Oh Warner Hill...how they actually still utilize you I do not know. Warner Hill is in Derry, NH (if only it was Derry, ME and Pennywise was on the loose). You need to make your way to Warner Hill Road and then just continue down it until you come upon the access road. There is no parking lot and you have to just pull off the side of the road and hope to note get hit by cars barreling down. The tower itself was in great shape and looked like it just had a fresh coat of paint applied to it, but the view from the top landing (below the actual access hatch) was basically nonexistent as the trees had grown higher. Maybe from inside the actual lookout tower you can see above the trees, but it seemed like a pretty ridiculous fire tower to keep maintaining. Not to mention it is basically in a person's backyard.

The access road (labeled Warden's Way on Google Maps). Integrity Farm is right next door if you are interested in a labrador retriever.
Further up the access road you will run into this on the right. Unfortunately, either people are disrespectful or this homeowner is paranoid about big brother as they have their entire property posted.

I sometimes wonder if the state just maintains these spots to lease them out to communication companies.
The view...
...more of the view...
America!
This is an easy one to get, but do not plan a day to hike Warner Hill. This is 15 minutes tops and that includes the few minutes of standing on the tower and trying to see some things.

Had to edit the track and re-upload it after I forgot to turn it off and did not realize until I got my mile notification and was already driving down the road.
